Christmas Morning

We had a nice slow start to our Christmas morning this year. The kids slept in until 7:30 and we took our time getting everything picture perfect downstairs before letting the kids go down. That was always the worst growing up, waiting for Dad to take his time getting the fire and camera ready. Haha, now its our turn :)

The boys got Kindles from Santa. Tatum's wouldn't charge so  the elfs had to take it back and bring a new one ;)

Trey is into Guardians of the Galaxy right now so this mask was perfect!

Look who can sit up!

Trey was so excited about his kinetic sand!

Blurry but classic.

I normally don't like anything with characters on it but the boys gave these to each other as gifts.

Cambria loved the wrapping paper and tissue paper. It entertained her all day long.

Christmas Eve

Our Christmas Eve is the same every year. The day is spent cleaning house while the kids play and Eric and I finish up the last touches on things. Then we go to Grandma Wilson's for dinner and the nativity. Grandma Wilson is in her 90's and still decorates her own tree and buys each and every person in the family a gift and wraps them herself. She is amazing and it is always such a joy to spend Christmas Eve with her. I took my camera but didn't take any pictures while at Grandma's house but it sure was filled with wonderful memories.

When we get home from Grandma's its time to make Santa some cookies and then off to bed for the kiddos.

Breakfast with Santa

Last year we started a new tradition with the Larsen family. About a week before Christmas we take the kids to have breakfast with Santa. We show up in our PJ's and have a yummy breakfast as we wait our turn to go in and see Santa. The kids get to make some ornaments, decorate cookies, color and get their faces painted. All of this goes on while Buddy the Elf walks around entertaining everyone. It is such a blast and a special way to get the kids excited about Christmas. Trey didn't want his face painted and we made the mistake of doing the face painting before we saw Santa. Oh well the pics with Santa didn't turn out great anyways ;) Santa gave each of the kids a present and Cambria couldn't wait to open hers. She attacked the wrapping paper and opened it up like a pro!

Once again I am not in one single picture, that will be my resolution for the next year!
