Easter

Gosh I am so behind. I wish I could stay on top of this, but its so hard to stay motivated!
Easter weekend was a blast. We had perfect weather and the kids had so much fun all hyped up on sugar! We started the weekend with a neighborhood egg hunt in my backyard.

Trey loves his little friend Emmy. These two just adore each other and have so much fun together.

The following day was Easter which we spent up in Park City. Tatum wasn't sure if the Easter bunny would follow us up there and was so excited to see that he did. This year the Easter bunny had to use wrapped chocolates instead of jelly beans to lead the boys to their baskets...hotel floors are so gross!

Trey's basket was hidden behind the couches. Trey struggled a bit to get back there.

Tatum's basket was a little harder, it was in the washing machine. It took him a while to find it :)

They both got Happy Nappers. These things are sooo cute!

This is Trey's "looking for something" face. He was looking for an Easter egg that was hidden up high.

We never got the chance to decorate Easter eggs, so we did that after breakfast.

Later that day we went up to Eric's parent's house for an egg hunt and dinner. The kids found some Easter bunny tracks in the front and thought it was pretty cool :)

My adorable 2 boys...

And of course a family shot. Eric was dressed from head to toe in Rangers apparel to celebrate the season opener. He's kind of a big fan!!

St. Patrick's Day

This year St. Patrick's Day was on a Sunday and with our church being at 9am our mornings are a bit crazy. As we were leaving for church Tatum did a quick search for evidence that the leprechaun came only to be disappointed. I'm so mean :) When we got home from church we found a clue and streamers on our door.

The clues led the kids all over the house and finally led them to their treasure! Tatum loved reading the clues out loud, he is getting so good at reading!

Trey was just along for the ride. He would do everything Tatum told him to. If he said hop, then Trey would hop!

The leprechaun hid the treasure in the fridge and put Tatum's drawing as the last clue!

The boys were so excited that our leprechaun actually came and didn't forget them!

The Party

Ever since our trip to Sea World in December Tatum has been talking about having a Sea World birthday party. I wasn't sure how I was going to pull that one off but he wasn't taking no for an answer! I decided that we would do an "under the sea" party which made it a bit easier.

I had a lot of fun putting together the food table. We served lunch to the kids and I was surprised at how many cute ideas I found for lunch foods. My shark fins didn't turn out so good but the crabwhiches were definitely my favorite.

We played some games like the Jellyfish Hop and fishing.

I was amazed at how much a difference a year can make. Last year's party was chaos but this year the kids waited patiently for their turn.

Trey was way better this year too. He just followed the kids around and did what they did after everyone had a turn.

After games we moved on to food and presents.

This was Trey's little buddy Chase. We asked him to stay and play with Trey.

Tatum totally scored on his presents this year! He got everything he wanted!!

As the kids arrived, Eric was still setting up the games. To entertain the kids I set up an impromptu photo shoot. I love how each kid did their own pose...so cute!

His party was so much fun, but I'm so glad its over!
