{ 3 YeArS & CoUnTiNg }

Today is our 3 year Anniversary! I thought that I would take a moment and tell our story for those of you who have never heard it (I always enjoy hearing everyones stories).

Well we started dating in May of 2004. Eric and I had both just broken up with other people and happen to be living in the same apartment complex. We saw each other at the pool one day and realized that we were in the same ward. We both had lived in this ward for almost a year without meeting each other. So on this day he told me that he had just received the calling to be my home teacher and needed my number to set up an appointment. I thought he was just saying that so that he could ask me out :) Turns out he was telling the truth! So he called me up and asked me if he could come by sometime and then he asked me out. We went on our first date long-boarding down Provo Canyon. After that date we have seen each other everyday.

We got engaged on Valentines Day in 2005 and we were Married on May 28th 2005 in the Mount Timpanogos Temple. We had 2 receptions and went on 2 honeymoons (we were very spoiled). One was to Park City, we stayed in the amazing Westgate Hotel. And then a few weeks later we went on a Mexican Cruise. Every year we celebrate our Anniversary by staying up in Park City for the weekend at the same Hotel.

It has been an amazing 3 years and I am so blessed to have Eric for a Husband...I Love You Babe!!

Tagged!

So I got tagged by my cousin Lesa which is good because I needed something new to blog about. Here are the rules: Each player answers the questions about themselves. At the end of the post the player then tags 5 other people and posts their names.

1. What were you doing 10 years ago?
10 years ago I was 15 years old and a freshman in High School. I was the shortest, skinniest girl in my grade, I also had really frizzy hair. It was an awkward stage. It wasn't too long after that, that I started to grow:) I was really into art and my older sister was just graduating High School and I was sooo excited to be the oldest one at home!
2. List 5 things on your to do list.
1. Clean out my car...I am known for having a messy car.
2. Plan our Anniversary...its only a week away!
3. Buy plane tickets to California!4. Do some shopping...I have my sisters birthday, my anniversary, my nephews birthday, my sister-in-laws birthday/graduation, and 2 of my brother-in-laws birthdays all in a row and in a matter of a week!!
5. Mop my floor...my least favorite chore, its always last on my list.

3. What snacks do you enjoy?
Anything with sugar! I really love chocolate chip cookies, I probably make them once a week!
4. What would you do if you were suddenly a billionaire?
I know what I would do, but that is completely opposite of what Eric would let me do. I would want to buy my own Island and live the rest of my life care free. But more realistically, buy my dream house, upgrade our cars, go on a trip around the world and then invest the rest. And maybe buy a beach house for our frequent trips to Cali.
5. List 3 bad habits.
1. I am a neat freak. Some of you might not think this is a BAD habit, but it is. Cleaning my house takes over my day. Thats all I do. Organize and clean my house.
2. I am really bad at calling people back. It sometimes takes me days before I get back to someone. Sorry if that person is you, I really do mean well.
3. I procrastinate. If there is anything that I don't really want to do, I put it off until I absolutely have to do it.

6. List 5 places you've lived.
1. Saratoga Springs, UT
2. Provo, UT
3. Orem, UT
4. La CaƱada, CA
5. Van Nuys, CA

7. List 5 jobs you've had.
1. Secretary for S&L Excavating
2. Optician for Standard Optical
3. Cashier at Home Depot
4. Assistant to a Podiatrist
5. Abercrombie & Fitch

8. List 5 things people don't know about you.
1. I have never been outside of the US, unless you count Tijuana, Mexico, which I don't.
2. I mowed my first lawn ever a week ago, and it was a riding lawnmower:)
3. I was an optician, yet I have never had a eye exam. I used to have to wear fake glasses at work!
4. I have done a little bit of modeling here and there. Here are some crazy pictures of me:

I was a runway model for Dallas Roberts Hair School...and I am also on a website, although its just the back of me: www.nsplife.com
(click on personal development and if you click on the juggler icon you will see Tatum)

5. And last, I am planning on going back to school in the fall. I want to get a degree in Photography and be the next Michelle Reyes (a popular baby photographer). Thats why I am waiting to get this new camera...
...so if anyone wants to take some classes with me, just let me know!

Now I can't just pick 5 people to tag, so I tag everyone!

Birthday/Mothers Day

My BiRtHdAy...

On Friday it was my Birthday!! Yay, I am a whopping 25! I had such a nice Birthday. Eric stayed home from work and watched Tatum so I could go and get a pedicure/massage! It was so relaxing. I got a massage while getting my feet done while reading The Host (Stephanie Meyer's latest). It really couldn't have gotten much better! Then Eric took me out to lunch where we had some yummy Chinese. Since Eric doesn't really LOVE to go to movies like I do, he decided to get a few hours of work in while I went to a movie with my sis. My Sister-in-law watched Tatum for me while we saw Baby Mama, which was pretty funny. That night we were going to go to the Augustana concert but Eric's family wanted to take some family pictures for Mother's Day and there was a Jazz game that night. So instead we went to his parents house and had a ton of family and friends over to BBQ and watch the game. It was a lot of fun...I really felt so loved on my day! Eric took tons of pictures with his Mom's camera and I haven't gotten copies yet, so those will have to come later. Here is one picture that I have of my pedicure....

Just kidding, those aren't my feet, but thats what they look like!

MoThErS DaY...

So I love Mothers Day, it is the only day that I actually have an excuse not to change diapers! Eric was great, he got up with Tatum and made me breakfast while I got to sleep in!! Then we had a nice time at church and came home and all 3 of us took naps. So relaxing! Then we went to a friends house to watch the Jazz game, now understand that I normally wouldn't want to do this on Mothers Day but it is the playoffs and the Jazz are doing awesome! Anyways, we then spent some time with both of Eric's Grandmas. He is so lucky to have so much family so close to him. So for Mothers Day and my Birthday I got money to do what I want with. Eric was going to get me a nice SLR camera, but I told him not to yet (its a long story). So instead I am going to get this...

the dresser that I have had my eye on for months now. I know it sounds dumb but I have never had a nice dresser and this one goes perfectly with my room!

Farwell...

Sorry for so many posts at once, but a lot has happened. So the day has come to send the puppies to their new families. On Friday a nice family came to pick up the black puppy. We still don't have a buyer for the other puppy, but I don't think it will be long before we do. It was a bitter/sweet moment. I didn't think that I would be sad to see her go, but I kind of was. The last week or so these puppies have been driving us nuts! Sure they are cute, but they are still puppies! They aren't potty trained, and they are sooo hyper that you can't walk because they are attacking your feet and chasing you, oh and they wake us up in the middle of the night to play! Anyways, I took some pictures of them before she left. And if anyone knows someone who wants the white spotted one, let us know!

Here is the black one that left us...

Tatum loves to play with them and give the puppies "Hugs"...

He still doesn't really understand how to be soft!

Real vs. Galaxy

On Saturday Eric went to a Real vs. Galaxy soccer game. For those of you who don't know, David Beckham plays for the Galaxy so this was a big deal! They got there early enough to watch them practice and got down to the first row to get some good pics of D.B.

This is our friend Emma who just moved here from China, she was sooo excited to see D.B. She said in China he is so famous that you would have to spend $5000 to even see him!

Here is Eric and his Brother Jake sporting their Real gear

Stair Master

This last week Tatum has learned how to go up the stairs. I didn't want Tatum to learn about the stairs yet, but he had his own plans. He walked right up to the stairs one day and just started to climb them! I had never seen him go near them, let alone TRY to climb them! He is just growing so fast, I see him do these things and it just amazes me...I still feel like he is a Baby!

He got going so fast, that I only had time to grab the digital camera...sorry no video.

He got mad when I tried to help him when he got stuck!

He was so determined to do it on his own.
