[..A good weekend..]

Can I just say how much I hate packing?? I have been slowly packing up our house and have about 20 boxes done and I don't even feel like I have made the slightest dent. I now realize why people hate moving so much. It never was a big deal to me before because I hardly had any stuff, but somehow in this house I have managed to stuff every closet and cupboard full of stuff! Anyways, enough of my venting, I really just needed to take a break from packing and blog about our fun weekend. My family was in town and since they couldn't be here for Tatum and Noah's Birthday they decided to take them to Build-a-Bear.

First they picked out their bear, or turtle in Tatum's case...

Then they got to fill it with fluff...

Then they gave it a heart...

Then they chose an outfit, Tatum chose the Jazz jersey with a basketball...

Then they gave it a name and boxed it up! Tatum named his turtle Buzzy...

We then went to the Momentum climbing gym in Sandy. The whole fam went and loved every minute of it. I can see this becoming something we do every time my family is in town. This gym was huge, it had something for everyone and all different levels of climbing. There even was a kid section where the boys could climb.

Eric an I raced to the top, and I won! We both could only use the Grey rocks which made it more difficult. Ya his side was a little bit harder, but still I was pretty proud of myself!

[..Celebrate..]

When you look at your life, the greatest happinesses are family happinesses.
~Joyce Brothers

I saw this quote and it explained my weekend perfectly. Friday my Dad got in town to visit his new Grandson. Tatum loved having him at our house. This morning when he left, Tatum was searching the house for him yelling "Pop-pop"! He really bonded with him this weekend.

Saturday was my Birthday. I was so happy that Elan had her baby when she did because all I really wanted was to spend time with my Family. We took Elan lunch after she got home from the hospital, then my Dad took me to Rod Works to pick out my present. That night I went to dinner with Eric's family...of course they embarrassed me by singing to me.

I am spoiled...I got a Wii and Wii Fit! I am so excited to work out while playing games!! After dinner Elan and her little family came over to watch a movie. I sure will be sad when we have to leave the theater behind...only 3 more weeks!

Sunday was Mothers Day. It was so fun to have my Dad in town and to bring him to church with me. After church we had a busy day visiting family. After 3 stops and 2 dinners we had cake to celebrate my Birthday.

This was the perfect weekend, I only wish that my Mom and Sister could have been here too.

[..Tulip Festival..]

This past week I took Tatum to the Tulip Festival at Thanksgiving Point. It was so beautiful there and I had fun chasing Tatum around taking pictures. Photography is slowly becoming more and more a passion of mine. I have been learning so much and am constantly wanting to go new places and try out new techniques. I originally wanted to start my own business, but now that I see how much there is to know and learn, I think I will keep it as a hobby. Anyways, here are some shots that I took this week.

I think Tulips are probably my FAVORITE flower!

It is so hard to get Tatum to look at the camera!

I loved this tree, I wish I could put it in my new yard...wherever that may be :]

This is one of my favorite pictures I have ever taken!
