Eric's Birthday

Our first week in July was very busy this year. My little sister Eryn just moved up here to go to school and has been living with us for a few weeks until she finds an apartment. Eric and Eryn share a Birthday and this year was a bit tricky for me to make them both feel special on this important day.

A few days before the 1st we had a party for Eric's birthday up at his parents house. We had his usual set up with friends, volleyball, food and a yummy homemade cake...

Our favorite pastime with our close friends...

Tatum being some kind of superhero (whats new)...

Oh and did I mention we cut Tatum's hair??? I can't believe how handsome he is with his stylish new short hair. We gave him a Mohawk that goes all the way to the back of his head. I will have to post a picture of that sometime :)

Trey was being so silly wearing these cones on his head.

And of course the Birthday boy...

{July 1st}

Eryn and Eric's Birthday fell on a Sunday so we were a bit limited on what we could do. Elan and I surprised Eryn in the morning with some streamers on her door.

We then had a huge breakfast for the birthday boy and girl with homemade waffles with buttermilk syrup and bacon, eggs and fruit.

After church we had dinner with Eric's family and his sister made Eryn some yummy cupcakes.

Afterwards we headed up the canyon to our favorite camp site to roast marshmallows. A ranger and sheriff came and told us we had to put out our fire because we are on severe fire alert, so instead we listened to Eryn play and enjoyed the beautiful scenery.

It was a low key Birthday for them but they didn't seem to mind at all :)

Fathers Day

I am so far behind on my blogging so here is my Fathers Day post...

For Fathers Day the boys and I put together a Hero Survival Kit. It turned out super cute and everyone had a great time with it!

I also asked Tatum some questions about his Dad and framed it for him.
I loved some of his answers!

Later that day we went to see Eric's Dad and everyone went in on a go-pro camera for him. It was the perfect gift for him, and let me tell you, he had so much fun with it in Lake Powell!

He also got this fun shark to play with the grand-kids. We got the wrong kind of helium for it so we had use extra balloons to hold it up.

It was a fun day for everyone!!

I Wanna Grow Up

Anyone that knows Trey knows that he is a very busy kid. He is nuts and has no fear of anything and loves to push things to the next level. He is so fun to be around and I can literally just sit and watch him all day for entertainment. You can't be around him without smiling. He says the cutest things and is such a little sweetheart. Trey wants to be a big kid so bad that he copies everything that big people do. I have so many pictures of Trey trying to be a BIG kid.

The other day I was outside with the kids when Trey came over and tried to ride Tatum's bike. It was so cute as he put on his helmet and attempted to get on the bike.

I love how he sticks his tongue out when he is concentrating.

Trey also loves to talk on the phone. I can't tell you how many times a day I have to stop him from calling random people. If he has called you, I apologize :)

He also has an obsession with shoes. Big or small he will try to put them on!

I love my not so little Trey and all of the adventures that follow him :)
