Little man riding his bike

For a while Trey struggled with riding his bike. He would get on it and try and try to get the peddles to move with no success. But finally just before he turned 3 he hopped on his bike and something just clicked. Not only did he figure out the peddles, he picked it up so fast! Before we knew it this little boy was riding in circles, going down the curb and even riding with no hands! He is pretty fearless. If he falls, he doesn't cry, he just gets back up and keeps going. Now that he is a pro, it is almost impossible to get him off of his bike!

I love that he has gotten so good at riding his bike. One our favorite things to do as a family is all ride our bikes to the clubhouse to get ice cream. I love that we have something we all can do together.

Logan Cabin

A few weekends ago we spent the weekend with the Low family. It was very casual and relaxing and just what we needed to return to our busy schedules on Monday. Eric spent most of his time fishing on the river in the backyard.

Trey caught his first fish...

and the boys enjoyed hours of play time with their buddy Stryder.

Thanks Steve and Meg for a wonderful weekend.

Father's Day

We had a lovely Fathers Day this year. I felt bad because Eric had meetings in the morning before church, so I couldn't make him a delicious breakfast. After church I made sure that Eric had some peace and quite to take a much needed nap. That evening we went up to his parent's house for dinner and to see his Dad. The boys helped me make Grandpa a candy poster which he loved :)

Grandpa opening his gifts.

After dinner Eric got dog piled on by all of the boys.

He is so strong :)

and the perfect way to end the evening...

I am so lucky to have this man in my life and am so thankful for him every single day.

Cedar Hills Days

Cedar Hills Days is one of my favorite weekends in the Summer. There is a carnival, movie in the park, parade and the best fireworks show in Utah County! We went to the parade this year with a bunch of neighbors and had the best spot. We were right on the corner at the start of the parade, so everyone came to us and gave us high-fives and candy!

Tatum's principle and school mascot were even in the parade.

After the parade Eric had to volunteer at the carnival. Trey fell asleep at home so I took Tatum down to Eric to play for a bit. He came home with this awesome face painting. Its official, Tatum bleeds blue!

Trey felt a bit left out and got the stamps out and covered his whole body :)

That night we had a huge ward block party and then walked down to the park for fireworks. Seriously this is the best weekend ever!
