The [Grand] Tetons

Well it is that time of the year again to head off to my Family Reunion at The Tetons. I just love this trip and it has become a highlight for every Summer.

Thursday we moved into our new house. Here is the first pic of the outside before we fix it up. Once we get internet at my place I will show more pics!

We finally got all the walls patched and painted{sigh!} and moved everything in just in time for my Family to come in town and spend our first night there with us!! Friday morning we packed up the car and drove 4 1/2 hours to The Tetons. I felt a little counter-productive unpacking our house and then turning around and packing it up for the trip!

The Tetons were awesome, we had record breaking numbers of 101 people there! My Dad is one of 12 kids and all 12 kids came with there families. Here are the original 12 with Grandpa Bradley in the middle...

and their spouses...

Within minutes of arriving the fun began with Eric finding this little creature. Eric is such a kid, I guarantee he chased me around camp with that thing. Gag!!

Tatum loved spending time with his cousins and Grandma and Grandpa Bradley.

The highlight for Eric is when all the guys go shootin'.

My little camper

And what would the Tetons be without a trip to the Corner Drug store in Driggs for our shakes and ice cream.

This poor town doesn't know what to think when 90+ people line up for shakes. The line was out the door!

[..Lama farm..]

The other day I took Tatum to a spot in Alpine to see the Lamas and just to get out of the house. It turned out to be a great photo opp!

Tatum could not understand why I wanted him to hold on to this rope.

This barn is so cool, at night the owners will open the doors and watch movies in their theater built inside! I told Eric that I wanted one of those one day when we have a lot of land!! How fun would it be to watch scary movies in there??

This picture made me laugh, Tatum's smile is so cheesy!

I have tons to update my blog with but this is all you get for now. Hopefully things will be back to normal soon and I can update everyone before too long!

[..Party Overload..]

The 4th of July week is always a crazy week for us. We seriously go from party to party, but we wouldn't have it any other way!

We started the week out with Eric's Birthday. He turned 28 on Wednesday the 1st. We celebrated with a huge BBQ at his parents house followed by some Volleyball. I was pretty excited about his present. Eric's little brother Jake and I spent 2 days on the phone trying to set up an indoor soccer team for Eric. We were able to get 9 guys to sign up for the team! He also helped me pick out some nice soccer cleats and shin guards for him. He loved it!!

Then on Friday night we celebrated Aunt Julie's 50th Birthday with an American Idol themed party. We all dressed up in our Mo-Town best and sang some awesome karaoke. I didn't want to post any pictures to save ourselves the embarrassment, but I just can't resist this one of Eric and Jake. They were the hit of the show!

We then woke up bright and early for the annual Balloon Festival in Provo. This is the highlight of our 4th!! We absolutely love it! Again I had way too many pictures to post, I just love these summer beautiful!

After the Balloon Festival we headed over to the Provo Parade. Tatum liked it for a little bit, but soon became grumpy and fell asleep. I think that is becoming an annual thing. Every year Tatum has slept through the parade...I don't know why we bother going :)

They Love eachother!

There is nothing like candy at 9am!

After the parade we went to our friend Jeff's Birthday party and then headed home to Alpine for a BBQ and fireworks.

We had so much fun this last week, but we are sure glad it is over.
