{...1st Hair Cut...}

We finally took the plunge and cut Tatum's hair. He will be 2 in a matter of weeks and has NeVeR had a hair cut! A lot of the reason we waited so long to cut his hair is because we didn't want to lose his adorable curls. Well he still has them and I am so HaPpY!!We love how different his hair was and we were a little sad to see the "Mullet" go, but now it will grow nice and even. We had our neighbor Charity cut his hair and she did such a good job! She didn't take too much off because we still want to grow it out. Although she just trimmed it, he looks so much oLdEr!

St. George

This weekend we thought it would be fun to spend the long weekend in the nice warm weather of St. George. We took a bunch of friends with us and spent as much time outside as possible! We set up the Badminton net and played countless amounts of games. We also went swimming, hiking and shopping. It was so nice to get away from the cold and actually be outside in a short-sleeved shirt.

[..First Prayer..]

Today Tatum said his first prayer. It was the sweetest thing ever! I made breakfast and then called Eric down to come and eat. Before we sat down to eat Tatum said "say Prayer?" and folded his arms and began to say this prayer:

"Heavenly Father,
Thank you this day,
Thank you for Mommy,
Amen."

I was in complete SHOCK! He had never said any part of a prayer before except for "amen" and now he just came out and said a full prayer. I seriously can not believe what a smart boy I have. The other day we caught him on camera counting to 13!! [I am going to put that video up when I find the right cord for my camera]. This kid really amazes me
EVERY. SINGLE. DAY.

I feel so blessed and grateful that we have so many Friends and Family members close by that we are able to spend the Holidays with. We had a close group of friends over to celebrate the passing of 2008 and the fresh start of 2009! We enjoyed playing Rock Band and board games and treated ourselves to some delicious chocolate fondue!
