Utah Lake

At the beginning of August my parents came back in town for our annual family reunion and the blessing of Eli and Cambria. They were staying with me for about a week and half and packed in so much fun that they went home needing a vacation from their vacation!

One of the things we did while they were here was take them on the boat to Utah Lake. All day long the weather was up and down but when it came time to go it was warm and sunny. We headed out and the water was so choppy that all it was good for was some tubing. We got everyone on the tube and they all loved it!

Then the weather started to change and it got a bit colder and super windy. The water was so choppy that the boat was flying everywhere which made it impossible to get clear pictures.

Eric and Jason took the last run and Scott gave them quite the ride. It only lasted a few minutes before the both flew out of the tube!

At the end we stopped and took a snack break and Trey was being hilarious. He was making all sorts of faces and making us all laugh. He is quite the character!

As we came into the marina and loaded the boat up a storm started to come in just missing us. Even though the weather prevented us from doing anything but tube, my parents had the time of their life and loved every second of it! Priceless.

4th of July

The night of Trey's birthday my parents came in town. This was their first time meeting baby Cambria and baby Eli. This is the only pic I got of that moment and its not the best but hey its something.

The next day was the 4th of July and boy what a day it was. We went from party to party and played all day long! We spent the afternoon up at Marnie and Paul's house in Hooper BBQing and swimming. It was such a hot day that everyone wished they were in the pool!

Tatum practicing his strokes...

After Marnie's we went straight up to Scott and Mary's for their annual giant slip n slide. My family got in on the fun this year and they all had a blast!

 The Grandpa's...

Trey started out very timid but quickly overcame it and was going down with no fear. Trey would grab the sled, walk all the way to the top and just start sliding down without a second thought!

This was Cambria's first holiday and as you can see she wasn't too happy.

This was such a fun filled day but by the end of it we were so wiped out and we still had fireworks to do!

The next morning was Noah's baptism. It was such a special day for him and the spirit was so strong. I can't even believe that next year its Tatum's turn, man time goes by fast!

On Sunday my parents went to church with us to see Noah get sustained. Shortly after they had to leave to get back home to California, but we snapped a few quick pics of them with all the grand kids...our family is really growing!

Its always hard to see them go but they will be back in one month for the blessing of these babies!

Trey is 4!

On July 3rd Trey turned 4! This boy is such a joy in our lives and I can't believe how big he is already.  We have had our struggles with this kid, to say the least, but I have never met another child that can make me laugh in the ways that Trey can. I could just watch him play all day long, he is so entertaining. And although he challenges me daily I wouldn't change a thing about this sweet little boy!

This week was a crazy one for us. We first had Eric's birthday on the 1st, then baby Lucy was born on the 2nd, Trey's birthday on the 3rd, then the 4th of July, and finally Noah's baptism on the 5th. We toyed with the idea of blessing Cambria on the 6th because my parents were in town, but with this crazy week there was no way I could make it work.

For Trey's birthday we had a bunch of his best friends come over for a water party. We borrowed our neighbors water slide and had sno cones and pizza. With Cambria only being 3 weeks old, I wanted to keep this party as simple as possible, so the kids just played outside the whole time in the water and sand box. Perfect!
