Good Charlotte

For Eric's Birthday a neighbor gave him tickets to the Good Charlotte concert. I was super excited because I have listened to Good Charlotte since I was in High School, and Eric is always up for a concert...even if he doesn't really listen to the band. They played with The Maine, Metro Station, and Boys Like Girls. All of them were so good!!

So on Saturday we drove up to Saltair for the concert. Saltair is pretty much a huge warehouse with an upstairs loft. We knew right when we walked in that the bottom floor would be a huge mosh pit, so we decided to pay the extra $5 to go upstairs and join the rest of the 21 and older people. When the opening bands came on we saw right away that we were smart for coming upstairs. Saltair really doesn't have an air conditioner, so downstairs people were fainting left and right! It was so hot! We had a really good spot upstairs. We were looking over the stage and had a great view the whole time.

On our way up Eric and I were joking around wondering if Nichole Richie would be there since she had a baby with the lead singer of Good Charlotte. Right when Good Charlotte came on someone next to us was pointing down below us and we were in shock thinking that she really was here! We soon found out that it wasn't Nichole Richie at all, but it was the one and only PaRiS HiLtOn!! I completely forgot that she was dating the other lead singer in the band! We were standing literally 20 feet away from her. She just sat on the side of the stage taking pictures and video taping the crowd. I usually bring my camera to concerts, but this time I forgot it. I was so bummed. We did take some viedoes on Eric's phone.



If you couldn't tell, that was a video of Paris Hilton. Sorry the quality isn't that great and I couldn't figure out how to flip the picture. But it was pretty awesome because the whole time we had a good view of her, but no one else could see her!

Towards the end of the concert we went outside and walked along the beach as the sun was setting. It was such a beautiful night! We had such a great time, thanks Clint!!

Let Freedom Ring

Wow, what a CrAzY weekend we had! We had such a blast, but we are sure happy to be home and back into our routine.

Our weekend started bright and early at 5:30am on Friday morning. Every year we stay down in Provo at a friends house and go to the BaLlOoN MeEt. They start at 6:00am and we love it so much that we sacrifice sleep for it. We have some friends that fly hot air balloons in the competition, so we are able to help them fill up the balloons and take them down. Sometimes we are even able to go up in them! We took Tatum last year, but he was only 4 months old and didn't really understand what was going on. So this year he had a blast!! He loved the balloons. When they would ShOoT fIrE into the balloon he would cry for a second and then start to clap his hands. We sat him in the balloon and he was not happy about it...maybe one year when he is older, we can take him up in one!



It was such a beautiful morning...


And it was so neat to see all of these balloons in the air at once!


After the balloon meet we went to the PrOvO PaRaDe. I can't believe how many people go to this parade! Tatum was so tired that half way trough he fall asleep. The rest of the day we went from party to party.


That night we went to Eric's Aunt's house and watched a movie outside and then did some fireworks.

I'd like to say that this was the end of our celebration, but we got up at 5:30am the next morning and did it all over again!! Over the span of 3 days we got a total of 15 HoUrS oF sLeEp!! I'm afraid it is going to take us a few days to recuperate after this LoNg weekend:)

Happy Birthday!!

I just want to wish my Hubby a HaPpY BiRtHdAy!! Today he turns a whopping 27! I was kind of bummed because I wanted him to have a really memorable fun birthday, but instead he has to work all day and then go to a planning committee meeting tonight. So I really couldn't do anything to special for him. I did make him bReAkFaSt iN bEd this morning and I dEtAiLeD hIs CaR (it was such a mess!) I love you babe, and hope that you still can have a great day!!!

California Love

We are finally back from our trip. We had such a blast, but are happy to be home. We are so lucky to be able to spend some quality time with my Family, since we don't see them that often. Here is a look into the fun times that we had...

We were able to find a great deal on some Disneyland Hopper tickets and spent all day on Friday fighting the crowds and heat. (Note to all of you thinking about going to Disneyland in the Summer: DONT DO IT!). It was probably 100* and so crowded that I was miserable! Tatum had a blast though and that made it all worth it. My Parents came at 6:00pm and picked up the boys so that we were able to get in some adult rides!

Tatum loved the Carousel and Pinocchio the best, but my favorite was the Tower of Terror!

We made a few trips to the beach. Our first beach trip Tatum wasn't loving the water or the sand. But the second time, we couldn't get him out of the ocean and he played all day in the sand! The beach was beautiful and the waves were awesome!

If you look closely you can see a dolphin fin right next to Eric. There were about 3 dolphins swimming right by him!

And we took some family pictures on the beach. It was such a beautiful day and the waves were so big that by the end of the photo shoot we were all drenched! In between shots Tatum and Eric hunted for baby crabs. Tatum loved them!

During this trip Tatum learned so many new words. He started saying Outside, Binky, Blanket and my favorite is Where'd it go? The crabs would escape and Tatum would say "Where'd it go?" Sorry for all the pictures but we had so much fun that we had to share with everyone!

3rd Times A Charm...Hopefully!

Yesterday Tatum came down with what we thought was a cold. It started out with a severe runny nose. Then during the night he woke up with a cough and his eyes were clogged up. When he woke up in the morning he couldn't even open his eyes! I took him into the Doctor's office and they said it was an eye infection and could be a sinus infection as well. To treat it they put him on eye drops and for the 3rd time this year he is on anti-biotics. This poor kid has been through a lot. Now to get all of the stuff out of his eyes we have to give him a bath or else he just screams. The infection is so bad that his eyes are all puffy and the Doctor said this was the worst they have seen in a while. To top it off we are leaving tomorrow for California. They said he would be fine after a few days so they aren't too worried about taking him. I am just worried about the plane ride there! I'm sure that he will be just fine and that we will even have a fun trip! We are spending 8 days in the nice warm weather and are planning on doing some major shopping, some beach trips, family pictures, and maybe even a Disneyland trip (all depending on how Tatum does).

A Little Recap

We went with some friends to the Petting Zoo, which Tatum loves!

We went up to Park City for the weekend and had a blast!
Tatum couldn't get enough of the water, we took him swimming at least once a day...

We did some serious damage at the outlet stores. Anytime we walked by this horse, Tatum had to ride it...

Eric played some golf in the backyard with his brothers and Tatum would crawl around on the grass and retrieve all the balls. Who needs Roxy when you have Tatum!?!...


Today I watched my friends 1 month old baby. Tatum absolutely loved her! All day long he just wanted to hold her...

He couldn't stop giving her "Hugs", it was so sweet how much he loved to be around her, I guess he will need a baby brother or sister soon....NOT!!
