Cambria's Owl Party

Since Cambria's birthday fell on a Sunday we thought it would be fun to do her party the night before so we could all go watch the fireworks afterwards. It rained throughout her entire party but right before it got dark the rain stopped. It was pretty cold outside but we made sure to bundle up to watch the fireworks.

Cambria had so much fun at her party. We had dinner, opened presents and then she got her cake. Things were a bit chaotic and I forgot to get pictures of her with her family. It still was a perfect night and all the stress get ready for it was worth it!

Grandma Mary bought Cami this rock-a-bye bee. She loves this thing and wouldn't let any of the other kids touch it! 

Nora was so funny. She is such a little mommy and couldn't stand that Cami was dirty. She grabbed a napkin and started to "clean" Cambria's legs.

All clean and ready to play with her bee again!

I can't believe this baby girl is already 1! She is so much fun and I feel so blessed to have her in my life!!

Cambria's 1 Year Pictures

Knowing that Cambria's party was going to be at night, I was a little worried about getting decent pictures of her 1st birthday. So I took her pictures before hand and gave her a small smash cake to capture that first memory. It was such a spontaneous and last minute photoshoot but I was still happy with the outcome. So much cuteness right here!

This was the bed that her newborns were taken on. I was in such a hurry that I forgot to put a blanket under her. Its crazy how much she has grown in a year!

Cedar Hills Days

The best weekend of the Summer is here...Cedar Hills Days! The day started out with the parade. Its such a small parade but the kids get loaded up on candy and then we take them to the carnival across the street. We always buy our kids day passes to the carnival and then we can come and go throughout the day. This year the carnival did not disappoint, it had a lot more rides and it was set up so nicely with a sitting area right in the middle to watch the kids better. Trey is slowly building up bravery as far as rides go. While Tatum is all in and will try anything. They each found some friends to go on rides with and Tatum found a dare devil partner that actually out did him. Tatum rode the zipper a few too many times and had to take a break due to a headache. Eric brought the boys back later in the day so that I could get ready for Cambria's birthday party that evening and we ended the night with the best firework show in town. Such a fun packed day!

Memorial Day

This memorial day we wanted to take our RV somewhere to campout. The problem with Utah County is that on holidays everywhere is packed! All of the spots up American Fork Canyon were taken, so we headed to our friend's cabin up Provo Canyon. The weather was so up and down the whole weekend. One minute it would be pouring rain and a few minutes later it was hot and sunny. It was so nice to have an RV to hideout in during the rain!

On Memorial Day we met Eric's family at Vivian Park for a bbq. We got all of the food prepared and canopy set up and then the rain started. We all huddled under the canopy and thought it would follow the same pattern and stop in a few minutes. Well it just got worse. We were in a downpour! I took a few pictures before we packed everything back up and headed home. As I took a picture of Eric's parents his mom said "this will be a memory". Sure was a memory!
